Britney Spears' Fall has Already Begun?

Poor pop star Britney Spears was charged Friday with two misdemeanor counts:

  • hit-and-run causing property damage
  • and driving without a valid California license, stemming from a minor Aug. 6 smashup in a Los Angeles-area parking lot.

The penalties for each charge has a maximum sentence of a $1000 fine and six months imprisonment in jail.
